The Marble Temple

Built in 1900, the Marble Temple the last major Buddhist monastery to be erected in Bangkok-is named for the Carrara marble that clads its exterior walls. Behind it are Buddha image in s dozen Asian styles. Each morning, its monks stand before its gates to receive food from devotees. (Daily, 6 a.m.-8 p.m.)
