The world’s largest golden teak mansion was built in 1900 as King Chulalongkorn’s summer home in what was then the countryside, far from the bustling city. It is now a museum displaying royal collections of jewellery, ancient furniture, dolls, and paintings. Its gardens are especially beautiful. (Daily, 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m.)
